HAVE WINGS, WILL TRAVEL …
SYDNEY, BRISBANE + THE GOLD COAST, NSW, QLD, VIC * (all areas considered), I so look forward to “meeting more fairy friends and making magical memories that never end” .

* I am able to ‘touchdown’ in various locations (AND BEYOND, beyond, beyond), due to my FLEXIBLE FAIRY WINGS and flexibility in my ‘day job’ (freelance psychological report transcriber) with regular flitting between Sydney and Queensland (PLUS BEYOND).

Imparting and sharing children’s literature and fairytales in a dynamic way is, to me, such a magical experience.  As is, sharing the joy of imagination, music, stories and movement and developing children’s imaginations! I have also proven to be quite good at entertaining the grown-ups too (we are never too old for fairytales and fun).

I was very grateful to be a ‘pop up storyteller’ in a yoga studio and present sessions of storytelling, singing, colouring in and children’s yoga/movement for preschoolers for the first semester of 2024.

I was part of the Woollahra Library Outreach Event in March at Lyne Park, Double Bay, Sydney.

I also ‘touched down’ at the NSW State Library Family Day Event in April.  I presented ‘The Journey Home’ (sprinkled with magical jokes and fairy dancing plus my favourite story of all time: ‘Never Say No To A Princess’ by Tracey Corderoy. I brought along paddle pop stick mermaids to craft and we all had a wonderful morning!

I have also touched down at schools with my fairytale education and fun session!  My latest incursion – fairytale education and fun for Darlinghurst Public School’s 100 days of kindy celebration -in July was fanfairytastic!  The students learnt a lot and .. had a lot of FUN!

My recent public ‘visits’ include: regional library visits in May and June  where I presented ‘The Bear Hunt’ with tap shoes and stood on my head with a mermaid!

I was also a special visitor at Paint Pots Playgroup for an enchanting storytelling, singing and dancing session in June.

I will be ‘touching down’ at the Waverley and Randwick Libraries on 9 and 10th October with my ‘old/gold and new’ session, presenting Goldilocks and the Three Bears (with a modern twist) and Never Say No To A Princess by Tracey Corderoy with a dynamic dragon puppet!  There will be follow up craft too – craft a Goldilocks or bear stick puppet or decorate a royal crown.

School visits (Fairytale Education and general storytelling sessions wherein I present both traditional and modern stories) plus touching down in public libraries with my plethora of beloved children’s traditional and modern stories are my ‘mainstays’.  I also have a lovely session for daycare centres and am certainly able to provide regular singing and storytelling sessions at centres.

I have also been keeping my ‘party/dancing shoes’ to continue to ‘fairy party’ with new and old fairy friends (3-7 year olds). I am so proud of my HEARTFELT fairy party program – pass the parcel with a rainbow twist, fairy treasure hunt, the princess game, dancing, craft and storytelling.  My latest fairy party was for a Miss Three in a park on the eve of Spring (September) where the children were so receptive to making wands, dancing and singing with my ukelele!
