Current Fairy Calendar

SYDNEY, BRISBANE + THE GOLD COAST * (and all surrounding areas considered), I so look forward to “meeting more fairy friends and making magical memories that never end” .

I am able to ‘touchdown’ in all three locations, due to my flexibility in my ‘day job’ (preparing psychological reports for Court) and having lived in all three destinations.

This year, the first since COVID, has been so fairylicious – school visits for fairytale education incursions, author appreciation incursions and growth mindset incursions plus library storytelling performances in Cairns and Sydney!

Imparting and sharing children’s literature and fairytales in a dynamic way is, to me, such a magical experience.  As is, sharing the joy of imagination, music, stories and movement and making children feel special!

I also provide a movement-based, magical storytelling session for childcare centres/kindergartens – ‘Let’s Go On A Story Adventure with Fairy Poppilina’.  Such a beautiful way to have the children experience the adventures of stories; namely a bear hunt and a magical odyssey (‘The Journey Home’ by Alison Lester).

Also, I recently became a qualified children’s yoga teacher and incorporate a little magical movement in my sessions ( ‘cuddle the cloud, paint the rainbow, stretch the moon and more …).  Hula hooping, roller skating and ukelele playing are also included, wherever possible!
